Yoga Styles
Hatha

In a Hatha yoga class the postures practiced will vary according to the needs and ability of the student. Whether that be on a general level such as to improve flexibility or for relaxation and de-stressing, or for more specific needs such as for example yoga for surfing, golfing or diving. As well as to improve flexibility, a Hatha class will develop strength, stamina and concentration.
Kundalini

Kundalini Yoga is considered the most comprehensive of yoga traditions, combining meditation, mantra, physical exercises and breathing techniques. It's also known as the Yoga of Awareness; its focus is on self-awareness and delivering an experience of your highest consciousness. The technology of Kundalini Yoga is a science of the mind and body, to elevate the spirit, which has no boundaries, no discrimination.
Vinyasa

Expect an energetic flow style practice with a different mix of poses each time and lots of emphasis on movement coordinated with the breath. The vinyasa gives rhythm to the practice, keeps the heat building, builds upper body strength and acts as a counterpose to stretch the legs and re-set the spine to neutral for the next sequence.
Ashtanga

Ashtanga Yoga is a system of yoga which uses the rhythm of the breath to move through a sequence of postures, integrating strength, flexibility, stamina and focus into a complete mind and body practice. In this class you will be taught the Primary or 1st Series of postures which are designed to purify and align the body.

It's hard enough to leave the room at the end of the day, what if private yoga classes were available in your villa or hotel room? Perhaps you want a challenging Vinyasa class, a meditative restorative practice, or somewhere in between? Maybe you don't know what style of yoga you like; you may want to work on specific areas of your body or you just want to feel good. We will show up and create a custom class on the spot to meet your needs. Custom tailor a yoga practice to your needs in your home or anywhere. Let us work with you to develop a practice that can be physically challenging, moderate, or gentle.
Kid's Yoga
Learning to breathe and focus is like a foreign language - best learned as early as possible! Yoga can enhance a child's innate flexibility and help them keep it for life! For pre-preschoolers our yoga classes are a combination of yoga and playtime to peak their curiosity. Our classes guide children in yoga-inspired poses and encourage children to move their bodies in beneficial ways. For preschoolers and increasingly older children, we balance the physical aspect of yoga with the mental aspect to strengthen their bodies while teaching them to focus their minds.
For children, this can be classes in schools or in summer camps and combined with a sport or favourite activity.
Group Class
Class is geared toward a basic yoga practice. Gentle warm up stretches and then move on to a very simple sun salutation, some standing poses, and then a cool down with a restorative pose and savasana. Teacher will guide students to align their bone structure and use their muscles efficiently. There is a focus on subtle alignment and breath work throughout class. A class that includes longer held postures, supported by yoga props, which give the nervous system a chance to relax from the frenzied pace of urban life. In this class we practice letting go, focusing inward, and stilling our minds. Often the last 20 minutes of class are devoted to the practice of yoga nidra, a guided relaxation in extended savasana which will bring the student to profound levels of physical, mental, and emotional relaxation
Surfer's Yoga
There are many benefits of yoga for surfers including: Improved balance and flexibility, injury prevention, building and increasing core strength, balance and flexibility. Improved energy levels, lung capacity and breath control. Prevention and help heal old injuries. Increase of mental strength, focus and clarity. Strengthen highly stressed areas around the body including; knees, hips, back, shoulders, neck and torso. Improving your coordination and response times for your ultimate surfing performance. Suitable for men and women of all levels of yoga experience.
Cranio Sacral Therapy
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. Using a soft touch practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it''s effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.
By normalizing the environment around the brain and spinal cord and enhancing the body's ability to self-correct, CranioSacral Therapy is able to alleviate a wide variety of dysfunctions, from chronic pain and sports injuries to stroke and neurological impairment.

Traditional Javanese Massage
Traditional Javanese massage is an oil-based massage with a history of over 300 years that originated as an ancient system of healing in what is now modern day Indonesia. Javanese massage predominantly use pushing strokes with strong thumb pressure to ease muscle and joint fatique and soreness. It focuses on the pressure points on the body and with deft strokes, break down tensely knotted muscles and aching joints. Hence oil is needed during Javanese massage to prevent skin burn from the pressure and friction of the long strokes and pressure.
